Its really winter now!

I think most of us would miss winter if we moved.
Sorry to hear you guys up North are getting hit. I was working outside in my T-shirt today.....but that’s one of the reasons I moved down here to Texas.;)

But your missing this.IMG_20191223_090519[9712].jpg IMG_20191222_145638[9714].jpg
This was a day or two before Christmas it would look completely different today and the Wolverine with tires probably wouldn't get very far.

How many are having a blizzard right now? Pics of the aftermath would be interesting. It started here in western ny about an hour ago. Time to go to my loading room and start prepping cases. We have had a warmer than usual winter so far but now it is very cold and windy. I hope everyone stays safe and warm.
9 degrees here this morning- we have got around 6 inches of snow in the last 48 hours- N indiana- looks like winter finally made it and will be here awhile

You’re right. I do miss a nice snow fall. Waking up and seeing a couple feet of fresh powder. Thinking school would be closed and I could play all day......
Now, it’s 6 hours of hard work and a wife with cabin fever!
Anybody wanna buy a couple nice snowblowers?:):D

If I thought it would keep it from snowing, I’d buy them in a heartbeat

Your pics brought back some fine memories ,I miss being able to fish on the ice . These pics were from Lake Champlain on the NY/VT border ...it was 20 below zero that day and 20-30 mph winds brought it down to 30- 40 below . Tip-ups would disappear from sight within minutes with the drifting . You can kinda get an idea the cold from the pics.

Our club had a match in SE Texas this morning. High-40s to low 50-s, but 10-15 mph gusts, mostly head-on. A lot of whimpering about the tough conditions. Seems mild compared to what most of y’all had. I hope you catch a break soon.

Had 6 inches last Thursday, then a couple nights of -12 or so, then 10 inches last night. Then its going back below zero tonight. We have about 2 feet on the ground now but the good news is that its half of what we had last year at this time.:)
There is more good news; no ticks, no bad thunderstorms, no mosquitoes, no humidity, no sun burn (no sun), I could go on and on... and only 3 1/2 months till spring.o_O Gotta luv winter in NE Vermont:D ~ Bob D

Central Texas here , been near record high last week around 80 degrees... Been running the A/C it's seems all year round.. I think I have put on a light coat twice.... The bugs should be horrible this year again....

here in west Michigan started snowing here Friday night... got apx 6"... turned to freezing rain for about an two hours yesterday morning... apx 1/8" of ice.. than back to snow... finally stopped this morning... winds have been a constant 20-25 mph with 30-35 gust... before this it has been a very warm winter so far... they still do not really talk about too much cold weather coming in..
