Went to the Silver Spur Gun Show in Abilene Texas yesterday. Stopped at a custom knife makers table and noticed a Manners T4 stock. Looks unused with an AICS bottom metal of unknown make. Asked about price which in turn had me remove my glasses to better inspect the stock. After a bit I asked "What's wrong with it?". Seller replied he took it as payment for a custom knife. I bought it at $250 out the door. Best deal at a gun show ever!

I went to the Doswell Virginia gun show yesterday and the only good deal I found was Garrand clips for 2.00 each.

That's my experience with the local gunshow, only I don't own a Garand.

Damn, En Bloc clips at 2 bucks each? I have a 5 gallon bucket full of them. Might be sitting on a gold mine.

There was one guy wanting 5.00 each.
I didn’t go to the show specifically looking for clips but that’s all I walked away with.

For those who own a lot of rifles, but still didn't didn't know what a Manners T4 stock is. (like me) From what I could see on Gunbroker, they go for about $575 new.

There are ways to run that price up quickly.

OP, good grab. Even the most basic T4 without bottom metal is double what you paid

At that price, you could easily afford to send it out to Joe Ducos - aka "Stock Doc" on the Hide - to have him modify it to have an adjustable cheekpiece w/KMW hardware installed for ~$200. As a ffl, I get a 10% discount on Manners stocks, and that one with adjustable cheekpiece (T4A) and swivel studs would cost me about $700. If the one you bought has the Elite carbon fiber shell, that's another $150 worth...

    Congratulations!

I am a recovering gun-addict and my closest friends are ENABLERS. So I avoided them and I swore I wouldn't buy another firearm. Then I purchased a Precision 6.5CM bolt-action last summer - it was a deal I couldn't pass and I had the scope and mount just sitting on the shelf. Then I was getting cabin fever in the fall and I stumbled upon Black Friday sales (HONEST, I was looking for porn.) Geiselle had the greatest deals - it was only an AR15 upper, so I figured I'd ween myself. Now you guys have to mention a gunshow "find." I am terrified of going to a gun show. :( I tried "huffing" Hoppes #9, is there a NARCAN equivalent for gun addicts?
