I thought I wanted one too, but could not afford the leather ones, so I tried this one:

I hate it. Narrow straps and flops all over the place. When you bend over it hangs away from your body. In my attempted use of the one above, it took two hands to get it out of the kydex holster. If you look at the straps and how they go around your body, my experience leads me to believe that they might work well if you are standing all the time and not having to bend over, the holster is a type that retains the pistol with a strap or thumb break, and if the straps had an elastic segment in them.

I wanted one for active use all day and I don't think they will work for me. If I were forced into trying another one, I might try a tanker style that attaches to the belt. In fact, I just found the one below as I typed this, and it actually looks tempting. https://www.arestactical.net/product/tanker-chest-holster/

Yep gunfighter sells that Kenai. I love mine. It's a great holster for wearing over coats etc. Actually I think Amazon sells it also

+1 on the kenai, bought it before a trip in bear country, very secure, very easy to get to with waders on. would love one for the 22lr pistol shooting rats while bush hogging

edit*** bought it for the same gun too... probably my favorite now
