If things really get bad you can’t eat metal when times are at the worst only actual supplies will have value I hope it doesn’t come to that
I think you misunderstand. Copper, lead, steel.... Some precious metals provide more food and security than others.

A man must adapt to survive! I went to the store for bread and potatoes. They were sold out. I came home with a Cherry pie and three gallons of Ice cream.
I hope the ice cream was Blue Bell!

There is a vodka distiller in Houston that is taking advantage of the hand sanitizer shortage to do just that. He is having to go through all kinds of BS with the gov't to change the type of alcohol he is producing so that none of the idiots buy his new product for drinking purposes.
Wait until people start to try to return some of that stuff to the stores and they refuse to take it back.
Yep, Costco started posting signs at every register saying no returns on many items...

Paint store.........Brilliant.......ThanksI went to the paint store to get some paint.They had a shelf full of denatured alcohol!! I bought two quarts! The pharmacy was out. Now I can take the bottle of Vodka out of my car!
LOL for the last 30 years schools turned into a place for a lot of mothers to dump off their kids so they can go shopping
That's great..lol... People rush out to buy everything , well now you get to keep all that crap... Yes sir good luck with that.... I assure you the death rate would be higher than the Corona virus..
That only works if you use Gin, Vodka works too, but I drink that and can't spare any.
