I am sending out a new Hart HV 1 - 14 twist to be chambered in a 22-250. The gunsmith said just send everything you need me to do. I want it cut to 26” with a 11’ degree target crown l will be using Lapua brass with Barts 52 bullets. I will send a dummy round with the barrel.
    What am l forgetting?

Yes! He is installing the action and head-spacing it.

Do you want any sort of finish on the barrel? Bead blast, etc

I will ask him to just have the finish match the action. Never had one bead blasted before. Is that the way to go?

Bead blasting gives a soft matte finish on stainless.

A copy of the reamer print used to chamber it is always handy, also make sure that he prints the caliber, neck size, and FB on the barrel. WD
