Canjar trigger adjustment

Thank you for posting. I am fortunate enough to have two rifles with Canjar triggers. I had some instructions in my personal library but were not complete. That is no longer the case.

Good morning fellow shooters

In today's world of precision triggers I don't know how relevant this is, but I ran across this paperwork on Canjar trigger adjustment and thought it would be useful for someone. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks! Put it in my reference section. Never know when it will come in handy.

Thanks for posting. I installed a Canjar trigger in my Rem 40X in the late 80's. Bought the 40X new in 1973 and still have it. Haven't shot it in a number of years but always loved the Canjar trigger when I did.

Thank you for posting that. I have one and I never touched it because I didn’t know what to do. Now I do! Copy and print and it’s in my book! Thanks again!
Josh

If anyone needs repairs or parts I can do and or supply.
luckyshot: Do you have all the internal bits of a Canjar set trigger shoe?

If so, would there be any chance of you posting a photograph of them? Next best thing after a working drawing. It wouldn't be any good me trying to buy replacement parts from you - getting them out of your country and into mine (New Zealand) would be a bureaucratic and legalistic nightmare!

Sorry for the delay. Only parts in one are the swing blade. A spring and the adjustment screw.
Maybe the screw needs tightened or loosened?

Thanks for trying. Have managed to fix the problem now - with some trepidation. Have posted the details on the thread I started about the Canjar problem.

Hi luckyshot52 - I have a Canjar single-set trigger on a Ruger No.1 - trigger won't set; needs work, and may need small parts. (I believe that a setscrew, and perhaps a tiny spring, are missing from the trigger shoe.) Do you have an exploded diagram or parts list for the single-set trigger, to compare with my trigger, so that I can identify any parts that may be needed? Also, in the event that I needed your assistance to get the trigger back in good order, would I ship the trigger only? THX -- jwa1313
