Try some smk 150's with h1000 seated about 0.015 off. Very accurate in my rifle and speed to burn. What is the max cartridge length you can load?

Ya I think the 8 will stabilize them well. The 7 is cheap insurance for anything heavier coming out...And you know a heavier bullet WILL be announced by somebody.

Berger has a 156gr. Initial accuracy is about 0.6moa in my rifle without working up loads. It is advertised as a hunting bullet but should work well for target as well.
The 150 smk shoots very well and I have a load for it so I don't plan on burning up a lot of rounds just to test the 156.

Has anyone used the 150SMK in a hunting application? If so what were the results?

I just ordered my Max LR today... I'm anxious to see how much room there is in the box magazine to seat the long 150s into the lands. I will be very interested to hear the initial results and findings as you test your new rifle...

I couldn't get rid of my Browning Max Long range fast enough . 3"-5" MOA at 100yds ,not joking . Now I have a Bergara Premier ,1st time to range with both factory and my hand loads it surpassed their Sub MOA guarantee.
