IMR 4895 (and 4320) works reaaaally good for 50g-55g varmint and target bullets in the std 22-250.

Back many years ago when we had a Groundhog population and could hunt just about anywhere. And right before I built my fist slow twist 6BR my favorite 22-250 load was a heavy dose of H414 in Win case. I think a Rem 9 1/2 primer and either a 55Gr Ballistic Tip or Sierra Tip 55GR I think they were right at 3,950 out of a 24" cooper 22, right in .350-.450

Back in the 70s started bench rest shooting with my varmint rifle Savage 112V 22-250 single-shot rifle 12 power Leupold scope .500 to 1.00 was doing good, up my game and picked up new Rem. 40XBBR in 22-250 now in the running above average, never pushed my loads not even for hunting, worked the IMR-Winchester and Hodgdon powers, settle on Winchester 748 34.8g to 36g did my best with 35.3 W748 with either 53g or 55g Sierra l have shot 5 shot groups .198 to .500, shooting at about 3500fps to 3650fps with a 26" barrel, H380 was close l did better with w748, fun little round.
