Stiller action bedded in McMillen Edge HV stock. Bedding is 1 1/2” onto shank.
Checking things on why it don’t shoot well with various barrels.
Some barrels are 1.251” & others are as small as 1.249”
Really don’t remember which barrel was used to bed. Could this be a problem? Or do I just need to KISS it?

You can't bed both and saw barrels super crooked you couldn't get them out of a glue in, but still set a record. I would remove any barrel bedding..... jim

Could be. maybe a pressure point on some that they don't like. Try removing the bedding and see how that works.

Cut that barrel bedding out of there. NOW!

Bed the action. Give the barrels some space. It's kind of like dealing with some people.

I've seen them vary more than that...had a 1.25" barrel block once and had to turn some barrels as block wouldn't open enough to accept them. For that reason I'll never bed ahead of the action.
