8-40 base screw conversion fixture

    Only problem i see, and its a big one, is that i dont have one.

    How can you not have one? When you make it, drill for short and long action.

    I made one that also lets you hold it sideways and upside down so you can do bolt-release slots.

    I like that design! We might look at incorporating something similar.

    I still use the Forester drill jig . That tool has definitely paid for itself tenfold!
