6MM Allie Euber 68gr bullet equivilant

I recently acquired from a forum member approximately 500 Allie Eubers 68gr flat base bullets for use in my 6PPC and 14 twist 6BR.. as i believe these are no longer available, what currently available 65-68 gr custom bullet is most similar to the Euber design? i have tried Barts's Ultra 68 flat base bullets, but have not been as successful at getting them to shoot in either calibers as the Eubers.

thanks

Try one of barts other offerings. Mess with your seating depths. Barts bullets will shoot, but like any other bullet youll have to find your correct seating depth. Theyre not a plug and play but the record book shows they are a better bullet so just play around with em

You are more than welcome to trade out what you have for a different bullet. I’m sure we can find something that works for you!

No problem! I’ll be in tomorrow! If you have any Eubers left go shoot them and make sure there isn’t something going on with your gun.

i have 500 or so Eubers and a bunch of Berger Columns. both have shot well in both my 14 twist 6BR and my 13.5 twist PPC. the Ultras have given me some nice groups, but have not been as consistent as i would want. i will give you a call.

thanks

Eubers are what we call a "fat bullet". Mic the pressure ring on the base and then the shank....eyes will open wide! Compare these dimensions to the other bullets you have.

BIB I think are fat bullets, don't know about Bart's.

Depends on which Bullet of Allies we are talking about. He had a bunch of different dies. His original bullet got huge, before he retired it.
