.224 bbl. 3 grove vs 6 grove ??

After more than 50 years experience in shooting, the difference between a 3 groove vs 6 groove is strictly in your personal opinion. I've had a bore scope for about 25 years and have no found no differences in accuracy or cleanability. I realize that there are certainly opposing opinions on this. Pick a quality barrel manufacturer and the proper twist and then clean and maintain properly. Of course a quality chamber and fit job are essential in installation of your barrel.

Looking for the good & bad ? of each, bbl. to be chambered in 22 BR, 26" length w/ a 1-8 T
Technically there's less surface area (barrel vs bullet) with a 3g than with a 6g barrel. Reduced surface area equates to reduced friction and pressure. I run 3g barrels with small bore/ large capacity rounds like the 22br/ dasher/ 47L because of this.
