Hydroformed Dasher Trim Length

Just curious what you guys that use hydroformed Dasher brass trim to? The large majority of my brass is 1.533 after second firing. All except for 4 or 5 out of the 96 pieces are 1.530 or longer.

I was thinking about trimming everything to 1.533 and using the few pieces that are short as foulers. What do you Dasher shooters recommend?

Don’t think that .003 variance in OAL brass length is important. Load a few rounds of both pc of brass and make the loads identical and then see what shows on paper. Shoot all at the same time and in the same conditions.

What hammer is better? Rubber mallet or dead blow.

I like the heavier 5lb leather dead blow. My rubber hammer is not but about a pound and will not work as well.
