Who loves their 300 RUM!

That top one is the "Real" version of an Accelerator. I remember Remington made the accelerator for the 30/06 years ago. Used a .224 bullet in a sabot sleeve to fit the 30 caliber neck. Moved pretty good but that ones on steroids. I think they actually made it for the 30/30 and 308. Possibly the 270. I use to sell ammunition back in the early 80s and never sold a box of any of it.

That is a hammer. What barrel length?

I love my RUMs I have and old Sendero that started life as a 300 win mag and is now a 300RUM and a Stainless Sendero that is a 7 mm RUM. I am building another on a stainless action that will be a 300RUM. 180 Bergers out of the 7, 200 SMK out of the 300. When you have the gun built have the smith chamber 2 barrels at the same time. Keep the spare in the safe till needed. When the new gun is done I have a bunch of 175 SMKs and surplus WC872 it will be my plinking gun.
