Annealeez My Opinion ... Out of the Box

This might be of interest to you. Friend of mine has a couple of mods that are simple and improve the machine. I did the volt meter mod on my Giraud as well. Makes the machine much more repeatable for a bit of work and $7.

Thanks for the clamp idea also.:)
I did not like what i had. I had what i needed to make this so that's what I've been doing for the last couple hours.

Terry, great addition for 7.00. Makes the machine much more user friendly. Thanks for sharing.:D:D:cool:

Where did you get that cantilever torch clamp? That one makes sense.
If you are talking about my red armed unit.
I made the torch clamp part a few years ago and the red arm is a small test indicator holder like the noga type from ebay.
Just faced off the 3/8 screw and drilled and tapped for the indicator arm screw after removing mag base. I plan on making a better torch clamp part that screws directly in the top of arm when I have time.

Good topic! I have been thinking about annealing to: help reduce SD/ES and get a little more life from my brass. And if I do go this route, the Annealeeze machine would be my choice. I got in a good discussion about all this on the 6.5 Creedmoor forum, or, was it Sniper's Hide? (memory) One thing I did not think about at that time, and, in relation to cartridge life is- while annealing will give me more life to my cartridge neck, it will not do a thing for my cartridge case head or loosening of primer pockets. And am wondering therefore whether to anneal at all , at least with respect to brass life. Thoughts? TIA, lg

What is that torch mount called and where can I get one? Looks like a very adjustable mount!

Would you be interested in making another one?
