i am currently running a zermatt tl3 action and i really like it, im just curious if the orgin action takes the same prefit barrel as a tl3 or if it has to have something changed to accept it. thanks in advance

Not the same. The separate versus integrated recoil lug changes the tenon length. There are some folks making a skinnier recoil lug that can be used on the origin to allow them to head space the TL3 barrels. I have not tried it and have no idea how well stuff indexes but have seen some positive comments on it.

Yup as mentioned you need the Hunts Long Range lug for the Origin to spin on TL3 barrels. I have two TL3s and got a HLR lug when I bought an Origin and it takes my TL3 barrels just fine. My fired brass out of that is the same as being fired out of my TL3.

ok good deal. any big differences between the tl3 and orgin? ive never messed with a orgin.

It has a swept back bolt handle instead of the straight of the TL3 but they feel the same in use. Origin is a great bang for the buck custom action.
