Zeiss V6 5-30x50

Has anyone used the Zeiss V6 5-30? How does it stack up to the other high end scopes in that class? Leupold VX6-hd, Nightforce SHV, and Swarovski? Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Colby

I've used one, but not the scopes you've listed for comparison. I have done a side by side comparison with the 5-30x V6, Sig Tango 6 5-30, Vortex Viper PST (gen 1) 6-24x, and Swarovski Z6i 5-30x. The Zeiss had much better optical performance in my eye than the Sig and the Vortex; the Z6i was slightly better optically than the V6. Not especially surprising, the V6 is about $800 higher priced than the PST, $800 lower than the Z6i. Full disclosure, I am a Zeiss sales rep, so I may be a bit biased, but I think the product is outstanding for the price point. The zero stop is pretty awesome and the box test I did held up.

I have a 5-30 v6, The only issue is as expected on high power with not much light it is HARD to see. It tracks well as my shv. When both are on same power I think my shv is a little very little bit brighter. It is on a 28 nosler I built, so far the longest shot was a one shot kill at 712 yards turning the turrent. I would not buy another v6, I think they are over priced, I would add money to it a buy a nxs or the leupold v6. But that is just my opinion. Now you could not give me a hd5 series had 3 of the 5-25 and they would not focus past 400 yards. If you do not need the power of the 5-30 I would buy the shv. As stated to my eye the shv on the same power is brighter, an maybe just a little more crisper pic. to my eyes. Hope this helps.

I've decided on the leupold VX6-HD I think it'll best fit what I'm going to be doing with it. Thank you to all the replies and opinions!

I did buy the 5-30x50mm V6 and I've shot prairie dogs and squirrels at extended ranges and its a great scope. But I do wish the reticles were a little bit thinner.

I've got a SHV Nightforce 5-20x56 ForcePlex Illuminated basically new for sale its pretty close and I'd say glass just as good maybe better.

I prefer the V4, much larger apparent FOV. The V6 suffers from that horrible tunnel view like its predecessor the HD5. The V4 follows the old MC with a wonderfully huge apparant FOV.
