Zeiss Reticle

Hi All
Does anyone here have a Zeiss with the new Z Varmint reticle? I want to get one, but am not too sure about the reticle thickness., The Z1000 is prety thick, about like the Burris Ballistic Reticle) I wanna use this scope for varmint and F class, but want a fine BDC reticle.
, For the quality of glass and price, I believe the Zeiss is a good buy, thus this scope)

bootlaceb: Recently bought a Ziess 6.5-20x side focus "Conquest", but got the standard "Z-plex" reticle, probably not what you're looking for. Has fine crosshairs at the center, with thicker outers. Have several higher-end Leupolds, and consider the Zeiss "just a little bit better". Optics are outstanding. "The Optic Zone" had the best price: $789 delivered, Midway price is around $950, as are other suppliers. A really fine scope: those Germans do know their optics.

I also have a Z-Plex 4.5-14. And the cross hairs are nice and fine. I like it too.
If the Z Varmint is the same, it would be great..but I cannot seem to find someone to confirm it. Its a lot of money to pay for something you not sure of!!

boot, can't confirm the thickness of the reticles. But by the looks of Zeiss' webpage, the Varmint reticle seems thinner than the others of the Rapid series. There's also the #43 reticle which I believe is the Fine Cross Hair. Dial up the turrets and you can be on your way with that one.
