Zeiss LRP S3 636-56 Feedback

Hello All,
I am looking to add a scope to my Ruger Competition 10/22 (Koenig Edition). I bought this rifle a few years ago and I am finally finding time to play with it. I will start with a local 50 yard bench rest competition. I do not want to limit the scope to that, I have other rifles in .223 and I expect the scope to do a good job at Varmint distances as well.
My choice so far is the FFP Zeiss LRP S3 636-56. It has a large 56 mm objective, a 34 mm tube, 6-36 magnification, 110 MOA elevation travel, illuminated reticle etc.
Does anyone have any experience with this scope or any other thoughts to share? Thanks

I compared the Ziess and ZCO side by side off a tripod at Mile High awhile back, Both set at 30 power
I was resolving images at 1800 yards (direct TV dishes) While I preferred the reticle, image quality, and FOV of the Ziess,
I ended up getting a 6x36 Razor.
If possible, find a dealer that will let you look through them all.

Good point, I will try to find a dealer that carries both. The big box stores around here don't carry the models.

Can you provide a link to this article? I tried but couldn't pull it up. Or, perhaps a more detailed explanation of what your last sentence means?
