Yesterday the planets lined up just right! We had 60 degree weather (a rarity in Missouri's February) and I managed to get to the range for an hour (another rarity as this is my busiest time of year). I've had a few of the new V4's for a few weeks now and I've been wanting to get one mounted and spend some time behind it. Yesterday I had that opportunity. The glass on thesse look really good for their price point. Crisp and clear, very bright. I really like Zeiss's zero stop. I only shot at 100 yards but had some pretty good luck. I was zeroed in 3 shots and then put up 4 3-shot groups, three of which measured .620-.660 edge to edge- pretty good for factory ammo! Can't wait to try and stretch it out a bit further. Here are a couple pics. I had a heck of a time getting my phone's camera to focus on the eye box. The scope looks cleared with the naked eye than it did through the phone, don't let me poor photography skill fool you. Also, the target it at 100 yards, but that back stop is at 200 which is why the target it focused and the back stop isn't. This is the 4-16x44 with ZMOA reticle.
