Z-Max ???????

Has anyone heard what the difference is in the z-max and the v-max? Looks to me just a change it tip color and some addition weight choices. Maybe green is a faster color. LOL

Their cheaper. Checkout Mid South Shooter Supply $58 bucks for 500 50-55 grainers.

That is a great price, almost as cheap as their varmint nightmare bullets. But, they are currently sold out in every weight of .224 caliber.

Not being a zombie believer, I thought this was a dumb idea at first. The joke is on me though. This stuff is selling so fast. Wish I had come up with it.

The way the my E-mail from Mid South sounded it was for getting orders PRE ORDERED for LIMITED RUN.

The website says the same thing if you read what is on the home page. I jumped directly to the bullet pages and it just says out of stock.

Interesting to note the 55 grain .224 bullets have a cannelure and flat base, but the other .224 weights don't have a cannelure and are boat tails. The 55s look exactly like the varmint nightmare bullets I got from MidSouth, other than the plastic tips.

Z-Max = V-Max.

Pre Order now for a heck of a deal. These will be produced through June and all distributors are required to place their orders before February 15.

Best place to get em. ;D

The Z max green tip has a special chemical that has been tested on zombies at Area 51. This chemical has been proven to stop the advance of a dead human 40% faster than a standard bullet and 60% faster if the zombie is moaning which indicates that the zombie needs brains to continue. And that's the truth!

Looks to me like they are the same other than the color of the tips.. The BC and SD are the same on the weights the offer in the Z-Max line comapered to the V-max line.

Zmax in the pic has a cannalure... I suppose they could be the same other than that.

Marketing genius!!!!! Personally,it is kinda silly, but if the bullets are cheaper,I would shoot some and let us know if they shoot.

The .224 55 grain and the 7.62 Cal .310 123gr have Cannalure, you are right. But those two bullets are offered in the V-Max line With the Cannalure also.
Look about halfway down on this page http://www.hornady.com/store/V-MAX-bullets/?page=2
