Today I bought the wife a Core brand thermal label printer,4"x6" and got her computer hooked up to Pirate Ship and printer. She printed all mourning for her packages ,frigin happy! Off to town she went mailing packages.Hmmmm, will it work? Downloaded this sites targets, circle and dot targets come out 1/2" when sized 48% .It prints or burns very fast.
I think it will work well for my daily rimfire habit, says oil and waterproof,it burns the images on sticker.Sticks to a lot of materials, even when damp. They stick to my 30 pack beer cartons. They fit in your pockets.I've been cuttin up the blank end of thermal labels that come inside my shipments ,like Midway etc for dope cards for quite a while, stick em to blank credit cards, I gonna try down load some type of grid for dope cards.
Labels are $8-$13 for 500 4x6 folding type. Printer is $80, Walmart

If you stuck them to the side of a wood stocked rifle would they come off without to much pain?

I just got a bluetooth thermal printer too. Wish I would've bought one 3 years ago. I've printed a few thousand labels. in the past few years and used a lot of paper and ink. Not sure why I didn't think to buy one sooner. Only issue with the thermal printers is that the printing fades over time. Not sure how long it takes. I printed some return address labels I made. I guess I'll see how long those last

For targets I'll probably stick with ink and 8.5 x 11 cardstock. That way I can still scan the ARA and PSL targets into On Target
