your opinion on spotting scope stands...Ewing or other????

hi guys...i'm in need of a stand for my spotting scope for some competitions i'm going to enter this summer...is there a certain brand or style that most guys stick with for shooting across the course??? my spotter is a straight body Zeiss 80mm...not sure if that really matters or not. i'm the kind of guy that likes to buy something once and have it for a long time.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have used a few major brands and the Giraud Stand seems to be the easiest and most effective for my needs across the course.
