You precision 100yd guys! What's your findings with your Amax handloads vs the identical ELD loads?

I dropped out of the shooting sport a few short years back just as Hornady switched out of Amax to the ELD. I was getting .25"-.375" 5 shot clusters at 100 yards from the bench with my 6.5Creedmoor and my 22x47Lapua using Amax handloads.

My handloads are with the 6.5 Amax in the 123gr and 140gr, and the 22cal Amax in 75 and 80 gr. Tell me that it is mostly a matter of readjusting the seating depth of the ELD's off of the lands to get the same tight clusters I had developed with the Amax bullets. I figure that surely some of you guys had tried using the same exact loads and the same seating depth from your Amax loads off of your notes when you switched over to the new ELD loads. How did it go? Did you find instances where you had to abandon the same weight bullet in the ELD because you just couldn't get the same accuracy with it like you did with the amax? Say it ain't so. LOL

I found the .308 178gr A-max, Eld-m and the eld-x to have very close to the same dimensions. Every time I change lots I check my seating depth. I would think if you had a good load for A-max you should get the same out of ELD-M. I found the ELD-X to be just as accurate as Ballistic Tips.
