You gotta see this to believe it!

Yes, some of his videos were on the web a few years ago... but still always a pleasure to watch!! I believe at one point, (and still my be in this video), he was shooting the 7mm Rem. Mag. cartridge... even more impressive shooting considering the recoil coming off of targets and then to be able to re-position so quickly!

LitLBoy...there wasn't another hunter present in any of the hunting video when he was shooting. The hunting platform in the lane he was shooting was EMPTY. He would have his head handed to him if he was that careless. They are extremely aware of the hazards of driven hunts in Europe. More than I can say when I hunted on public land with my sons. There were four separate instances where we had other hunters' bullets snapping around us. I had one a-hole empty a lever Winchester at a doe that got up between us, and I was in plain sight not 25 yards behind the deer in full blaze orange. Have hunted private land or not at all since.

As for what Franz shoots; every rifle he shoots is a long bolt action, 7mm WM and 7X64 are two of them, one a straight pull and the other a regular bolt. When he's shooting, it's hard to hear if there is any difference in the speed of his working the action.

He needs a autoloading rifle, to take it to the next level, cause he isn't the limiting factor in this vid.

ebb, I recall reading the results of a test done many yrs ago that compared the ability to quickly put followup shots on target with a center fire rifle. It compared a standard turn bolt, a semi-auto and a straight pull. The straight pull won with pretty much every shooter in the test. It slows you down just enough to get on target and not throw them.

I want one, I just can't afford it (and all my other shooting stuff)

Yea with new shooters going fast for the first time I am sure you are right. Thus guy and anyone that has to shoot fast and has worked on it for a while an auto loader has got to be faster. Nobody is using a straight pull in 3 gun or on a Seal team.
