Yoke End Play Adj Tool for S&W KLN ?

Can someone confirm if this is a Yoke End Play Adjustment Tool?

If it is, they're not using the same method I was taught to adjust yoke 'end play'.

Never saw a tool like that. Trying to think what it would be for on a S&W. Easiest way to take up the play is with the Power Custom Cylinder Endshake Shims. One could also stretch the crane, using a tight fitting mandrel inside the crane, and using a Brownells tubing cutter like tool to roll stretch the crane, then trim to the correct length.

Your right, my bad! My pea brain went immediately to talk mode, instead of think mode. I do that a lot lately! For yoke play, I used to just peen it a small bit, and used a fine file to adjust the slot. Seldom had that problem though, compared to cylinder end shake.

That tool perhaps may be a homemade gauge for checking the yoke slot? Never saw one like that before.
