You push them much harder and there coming apart. The 40 gr Vmax samething. If you were shooting them in a 13 or 14 or even a 15 twist you would get more speed and the bullets will hold together with no pressure or problems. I pushed 40 gr Vmax thru a 220 Swift at 4235fps and no sign of pressure and grouped really goodfast enough that I worry about the Berger 55's remaining intact
3800 fps its the 7 twist that concerns me
When Don gets me my 63 grain pills here , then you will see why a 7 twist was selectedI wonder why 7 twist too? Surely at these velocities an 8 twist would be more than sufficient?
I have run the heavy 20cal Berger’s at 3300 in standard 204 Ruger with 8 twist fine?
