XBR in the 223 is a winner

Tried a new load out with XBR8208, I think it will do.

LC13 case, Federal GMM primer, 75gr Amax, X-Caliber 3 groove 1-8"t barrel. The two big blobs are 300WM with SSTs.

+1 I love 8208 XBR with 80VLD's its hands down flat out awesome!

Out of my best 20 five-shot groups in my F/TR rifle using 80gr VLDs, three are with IMR 8208 XBR; however, 13 of them are with Vihtavuori N-140. The VV also shoots best with a MV of about 150fps faster than the XBR. So, even though 8208 XBR is my favorite powder and shoots best of any powder in my Howa 1500 .223 "fun" rifle, I use the VV N-140 for competition.

Shooting 80 gr A Max in a .223 AI, 24.9 grs of 8208XBR, CCI450 nets me an even 2900 fps with generally an ES of 8-10 fps. Very accurate in my 700 bolt gun. I'd bet many shoot the 80's faster and hotter in the AI but 24.9 seems to be a node for my gun.

In the std .223 8208 works pretty nicely as well with 68/69 and 75/77 loads.
