Wyman Meinzer's dugout

This early morning I drove to our dugout to sit for awhile and gather some thoughts about 2023 and the coming New Year. The weather was chilly but hardly a breath of wind stirred through the barren tree limbs above. After awhile I went inside and lit our newly installed wood stove, custom built by Glenn’s Welding in Seymour, Texas.
The little respite exudes such a peaceful aura, the main reason we love to go down and just sit by a fire, speaking of life and how wonderful it can be if one will just let the peace in. At the dugout, peace reigns supreme.
