Up for sale is an unfired 40X chambered for 222 barrelled action. I took this in trade as unfired and have not fired it. The serial number puts it made in 2000 according to my talk with the Remington rep. It is all original except for the 1/2x28 muzzle thread. The barrel is 27 1/4 inches long and the rifle weighs 10 1/2 lbs. It is a single shot stainless action. I have a buyer interested in buying the stock only and would split it up subject to firm commitments from the buyers. $1500 shipped or reasonable offer.
