WTB: Savage 12 F/TR, 12 Palma, 12 Benchrest, open to calibers

As stated above, looking to get into a budget f-class rig. I'm a savage fanboy, so that's my preference, but I'm open to other rigs too. Im a fan of 308win, but I'm open to others as well. I've already got good f-class ready glass, so just looking for the stock/action/barrel configuration. The savage target action is a particular favorite too. Preferably staying under $1,500.

My alternative is to just buy a new Savage F/TR in 308win locally for $1,300. In case it matters, I'm in Missouri and open to local meet ups too, but can certainly have stuff shipped to a local FFL.

Let me know what you have!

I have savage target action in 6 br with 235 rounds down the barrel, bought for wife to shoot and she does not shoot it
Pm me if you are interested
Thank you

Your post title says F/TR but the caliber doesn’t matter. Are you trying to shoot TR or Open? Are you going to use a bipod or rest? The stocks for these two divisions are different, and your rear bag has to work with your stock style. I’ve been down this road (with a Savage) and went through 3 different stocks, 3 rear bags, and 3 different front rests. I’m still not very good but at least I know it’s not the equipment :p

Shoot me a PM if you’re interested and I’ll tell you where I went wrong. It might save you some money.
