Not sure I agree,would you be ok having the better part of $800 into a used adl minus scope it came with originally when the new adl varmints are around 650 on gb? And the original model I'm looking for sold for sub 500 new a few yrs ago.

lol that is NOT a good price!!! That gun was ran for Dicks sporting goods for their Black Friday sale. They was $349 with a $50 rebate making them like $299

Exactly. I also look at todays market and availability when I weigh in as to whether something seems like a deal or not.

That Dicks Sporting Goods sale was 12 years ago. Everything has gone way up in price in case you haven't noticed. Just about every used rifle in good shape is worth more than it was when purchased years ago. At that time, I was buying 8 lb. jugs of Hodgdon powder for $179, and CCI BR-2 primers for $49 shipped when you could catch the free hazmat sales, now that same jug of powder sells for close to $400, and the primers are $150-$160. It's all relevant...
