looking for extremely clean 40X 22 LR ........prefer commercial model but will consider CMP guns that are in excellent metal condition.

I've had 9 CMP 40 X , 2 usmc 40 x , a few commercials . I've kept the 2 best . The CMP I have is $1500 plus ship and ins .
If you want a shooter try a good commercial , the CMP were pretty well worn , some shot ok but I wanted a shooter and looker for 100 and 200 yds . I guess I wouldn't of had so many if they were all the same .

Commercial 1956 722 56xx all original never bedded or altered.
Removed action from wood stock and put it a Robertson benchrest and added a Jewel trigger, target is 5 shots on each of hunter class target average was .191"
