WTB: Beretta AL390 20 gauge

If anyone has a Beretta 390 just taking up space in your cabinet- I’d gladly purchase it from you.

Thanks!
Matt

Curious why specifically the 390? As opposed to the newer 300? I am looking as well but for a 12ga. I am not familiar with the 390 or 391 so am trying to educate myself, maybe
I should consider that model also.

Beretta 303s were well built and simple - but one needs two barrels to reliably have it cycle between 2.75” or 3” shells. The 390 solved that mostly - can cycle most 2.75” & 3” with not much adjustment required. 390s are also well built guns. The 391s are solid - overly complicated from an action aspect but still built well - Beretta started cutting corners- introducing plastic parts.

I won’t touch a modern made gun. The quality isn’t there.

I have a 303 and the Beretta clone (B-80). Also have a youth 391 for my kids. Prior to shoulder surgery- my go-to was an A390 12. Thus the desire for that model in the elusive 20ga.

I appreciate the insight; Ive never handled the older models, but have handled the A400 and A300 in the store and was not impressed by the finish quality, play in the forend etc. the benelli and franchi finish seems to be a little nicer.
