I'm looking for an aperture that's smaller than the one installed on my military training rifle. The sight is a Redfield. Please PM me if you have one.

I haven't bought from them in several years, but aperturesnmore.com always came through for me. He's very reasonable and accommodating. He custom manufactures apertures, screws and other small parts.
He lists an 0.040, 0.050, 0.080 & 0.095" aperture for the Redfield 75.

I have no clue. If you have a drill set, you might be able to approximate what you have though. A 3/32" would be 0.093", a 5/64" - 0.078" and 1/16" - 0.062".

For the "camera-like shutter" try:
meritcorporation.com , the #3 Master Disk. I have them and they do work well.

They are great and will communicate with via email to get you what you want. I wish they woule make a "merit" style aperture with a camera-like adjustable diaphragm~!

Yes it was made under a contract with the military, is mechanically totally original, is marked "US PROPERTY" on both the receiver and barrel. and wears a Redfield peep sight.
Don't know the size of the aperture and have no way to measure the hole. I just bought 2 of the smallest Apertures and More so guess I'll find out. I'd love to find with an adjustable hole like a camera diaphragm.
