WTB 6mm PPC ammo and/or brass

Hello folks. I am looking at buying a 6 PPC but I want to source some ammo for it first. Please let me know what you have and how much you’re looking to get.
Thanks

Just for informational purposes 6ppc ammo is not available commercially loaded! It is all loaded by hand, usually at the range while shooting a match. If you find ammo that someone handloaded ( not legal to sell on this site) there is a distinct possibility that it will not fit the rifle you purchase at a later date. If yo need to pm me please do so about information Regarding 6ppc.

What he said

Except that Norma did load PPC USA 6mm for Sako a long time ago.

But for all intents and purposes, what he said is fact

AND if you are looking for used brass you need to tell us what chamber you are trying to fit or if this is a factory gun. Just an FYI

Not all 6 PPCs are the same - far, far from it.
Define your rifle's 6 PPC chamber specs and we can provide solid and helpful advice.
6 PPC-USA is the only factory ammunition I am aware of; and it is no longer made; but others on this site may have some available to sell you. However, if your gun isn't chambered for it, it will be worthless to you.
You will need to identify the gun's chamber. Is it a 6 PPC-USA, a 6PPC, or 6 PPC tall dog/wall dog. If it is a 6 PPC, then you will need to know the chamber's neck diameter (it varies quite a bit). From this, we can offer some good advice.
Regardless of which '6 PPC' chamber you have, be prepared to set up for reloading/handloading for it if you want to enjoy it. If reloading is not your cup of tea, then you should consider a more commercially available 6 mm cartridges such as the 6 ARC, 6 Creedmoor, and even the 6 BR Norma, as these are in the 'similar' class of the 6 PPC (I said 'similar'...not the same class).

Sako also sold loaded ammunition (6mm PPC-USA) with a 70gr pill. Accurate stuff~! How do I know? I just sold some in the original orange and white boxes to a fellow enthusiast in Texas. I asked him what rifle he was shooting, but he never responded. My rifle was a Vixen Hunter (L461) and was the most accurate factory rifle I ever owned of shot.
Please address me by my correct name which is "Dumb-Ass"~!!!

Thank you all for the education! This rifle walked into my shop, unfired, Borden TPE action, Bart barrel, I know who built the gun so I’ll start trying to reach out to figure out exactly what I’m dealing with. Thanks again!
Does it have the neck diameter engraved on the barrel, next to the 6 PPC identification? It would be something like '6 PPC - .262'.

Help! I am buying a Ruger factory 6PPC here and need a box or two of factory loaded ammunition. When I type it in on the net, all it shows is a company called Hendershot's Sporting Goods, Inc. on the web. I try to type that in and it refuses to connect me. What to do...? The rifle is useless without ammunition.

Yes, Ruger chambered for the 6PPC-USA

Buy Norma 22 PPC-USA brass and run a tapered 22-6mm mandrel thru it, and load it using a Redding 6PPC-USA set of dies. Sometimes you can find 22 PPC-USA brass here on for sale threads, and Grizzley sold it for a while. Huntingtons may have it, etc. Be patient, it shows up. I have a few hundred but it isn't for sale.

You can also sometimes get by with Lapua 220 Russian fireformed to 22PPC. However this is more difficult a process getting it right.

I will have one of the bolt guns in a week or less. I hope to find at least one box of factory ammunition.

I believe there were two boxes that sold on here a few weeks ago, for about $50 per box. If you are willing to pay for it, I am sure you can find a couple of boxes of Sako 6 PPC-USA ammo out there.
Also, as others have shared, if you want to enjoy it and shoot the rifle ongoing, reloading is your option.
Good luck with your pursuit.

You will need to learn how to reload 6ppc ammo!

I have been reloading for about sixty years now. I started with a Lyman tong tool, a Kake Cutter, and a mould.
I dislike forming, etc, the process to turn something else into 6PPC-USA.

I want to buy a box of loaded ammunition if anyone here can help me I would appreciate it very much.
