Favorites are the two original Gov't loads of old. Carbine load of 405gr bullet with 55gr of BP. Or, the rifle 460gr bullet with 65gr (some say 70gr) of BP. While there are folks who shoot smokeless in a TD, I'm of the opinion that it is dangerous. Old rifle, case only about 1/3 full of smokeless powder makes it way too easy to over-charge the case.
