WTB 1892 Replica in 44 Mag.

I'm looking for a Browning or Maruko 1892 in 44 Mag in good to like new condition. Would prefer the 24 " Oct. Barrel. Please let me know what you have -----Thanks, George....

Spend some time hawking the SASS sites. Personally I favor the 1873 style but both are used by cowboy action folks.

'73 would be pretty stressed in .44 Magnum. Does anyone make them on that design?

Thanks guys. I'm not familiar with the sass site but I'll see what I can come up with. BTW, I have a couple of 73 win in .357 and a Browning 1892 in 44 Mag but it is a carbine and I want a rifle in 24" Octagonal barrel. I'm not into Cowboy shooting but have nothing against it...Thanks again....George

My bust. You're correct most 73 replicas are in 45 colt or 44/40.

Uberti 73s are available in 44 mag. Have been for a few years. The old toggle link designs are a lot stronger in a steel frame than many give them credit.

That said I'm with the OP and would rather have that caliber in a 92
