Funny you say that. Was shooting ground hogs one morning over some cows in a valley. One cow had just given birth to a calf. Looked like a few coyotes attacking the cow but turned out that they were after the calf and eating calfs umbilical cord. Wound up killing two before the scenario ended. Never went to retrieve the coyotes but let the farmer know what happened. Talk about a grateful farmer. Later that week we saw him again and he lost two calves to coyotes since that day. Turned out both coyotes I killed were young dogs from that spring.If you see what they do to a cow down trying to give birth, you'll have no trouble.... John
