Would you buy this Staccato? (pic)

No. But what do I know? When I was real young my Dad and I went fishing. When we left to come home, I left my 1911 on the roof of the car. We backed up to get it and it resembled the 2011 you have pictured.

For the right price. <$2k maybe. Hopefully the internals have not been abused like the externals. New rattle can overhaul too.

No. Why do you ask?
Is this posted for sale somewhere?
Are you looking for a 2011?
Doesn't look like it's been taken care of. Too many hard miles on it.
Theirs wear under the optic on the slide, but not on the optic, new?
Way too many questions.

It is posted for sale... new gun, basically, a custom ordered gun with limited production.

I cropped the picture , so none of that appears in this forum.

It just looked to me like what you thought it was.... a beat down abused gun that somebody was trying to dump.

I’m guessing what everyone is proposing as a worn out 2011 is all window dressing. Someone had this done to depict the Fallout game series so the wear and tear is due to some very good cerakote distressing. Many would pay a premium as it is presented. There are only 25 of these being produced, they will easily sell! I would buy if the price is right based on the quality of the components. More info. Would be needed.

Wondered that too.
Some like that new worn look.
If I'm putting up that kind of money, I want mine shiny and new looking.
Like when they started selling new jeans with holes in them.
I can do that all by myself without paying more for it.

I have a Staccato XC I’m gonna list, as close to new as a guy could get. Gonna keep my C and let the XC go. If you’re looking at Staccatos I’d suggest finding a clean used one and save yourself some money but also get a gun with some life left in.

That poor thing has obviously been used which is a good thing but I don’t think the owner cared much about how he abused it. I’d steer clear of that one unless reply #12 is accurate which it could be judging by the trigger. The Fall Out look certainly doesn’t appeal to me though. To each their own

You got it exactly right as to the guns provenance. Personally , I would not pay above a black nitrided version of the gun Just for the limited production... unless I was making hollywood money and bought it as a potential investment.

No & No...

I've never seen a firearm look like that on the outside that looked/shot good on the inside. Pride in ownership is lacking from these views. I'd pay $200 if there were a couple spare mags included and I could shoot it first.

Somebody would need a ego boost to shoot it, but you need to be a world class shooter. I would not show up at a match with it, Seen it many times at matches, Not for me for sure. Somebody will like it.
