It occurred to me recently that sometimes to get organized/analyzed feedback on some questions raised on this site, it might be helpful to use SurveyMonkey at SurveyMonkey.com (which I think has one user option that is free). This approach would allow users here who wish to complete the survey questions to provide their answers, and results can be produced and presented here in an automated manner (tables, charts, number and percent of respondents who agreed, disagreed, etc, for multiple choice questions). I've used SurveyMonkey (once) and found it is simple and works well. I am not affiliated at all with SurveyMonkey but think it might be useful here. For example (using a recent example), if someone on this site wants to know, "How young should children be taught to shoot" and "If so what kind of rifle would be suitable", feedback from a few to hundreds/thousands of respondents can be collected from multiple choice responses, analyzed automatically and could be reported on this site. Similarly, though I do not know if it is doable from a policy perspective terms on this site, various products could be rated by users here, or companies who wish survey data regarding their products could obtain it here, and analyzed replies provided on this site. Do you think this approach might be helpful to users here. What are your thoughts?
