Would I notice flyers from a light FP spring?

It seems okay to me. I perceived the lock time to be slower on the BAT than the Remington with PTG bolt and Gre Tan parts I sent you. It could be my imagination however. I don't know anything about how to tell it one has faster lock time than the other.

The BAT seems to have a very powerful ignition system. I can really feel it through the stock when dry firing.
Just out of curiosity, what model BAT and what is your current pin fall on it?

Model TR.

I havent measured the pin fall. I can measure it the same as a Remington 700 right? I just need to put the cocking piece down into the groove and then take the appropriate measurements off the bolt face and firing pin.

I'll do it tonight and get back to you. Im pretty sure the little ticket it came with said it was .020, but I will double check.

The way I do it... I measure what little bit sticks out of shroud when clocked. Dry fire it and measure from the shroud to pin. Add both together and come up with the pin fall. Bat say .210 to .230 I think.

Unless I missed it Brownells hasn't any firing pin springs for a Remington except pin and spring and it says lite one no poundage of the spring
Oh, sorry, I've gotten them there in the past, call 'em, they may still have something.

Yeah I've got them there in the past to, with Remington out of the picture I didn't know for sure who made the factory # springs.
I've got a Rem 700LA thats 2 years old I probably should replace the spring on.

I got .206 fired, .026 cocked. .232 total.

A BAT (not Nuevo) action is 0.200 + where the pin is sitting outside shroud when cocked and bolt/action closed
This additional outside will depend on trigger type and does it have an adjustable trigger hanger to reposition trigger back.
Typically 0.230 max with +0.030 hanger and 0.210 with ‘0’ hanger
Some triggers may get you 0.005 to 0.007 more

I bought this particular action from short action customs. They spec their actions without the adjustable trigger hanger. It's set up like a Remington.

I'm using a Bix and Andy Tacsport Pro with their standard top sear. I called Bullet Central and that's the one they recommended.
