They have just had the World Bench-rest Championships 100 & 200 yard and i know they have F-Class world championships what other ones are held is there any Rim-fire ones as well But how about Varmint for Score what we call Hunter-Class don`t know what you call it in other parts of the world. And are there sites to keep upto date with them all.

We try to keep track of the major events, but with short-range BR, long-range BR, 300m, 600 yards, High-Power, Silhouette, Varmint matches and the like, it's a daunting task. www.benchrest.com usually has posts about the major matches, and the NBRSA and IBS websites publish major match resullts.

Have just been abused for suggesting a week or so ago that the results for the 8thWBC could be posted on a site each day after the shoot for people around the world to follow. IT is a WORLD BENCHREST CHAMPIONSHIP. I am pushing as hard a possible here in Australia for publicity of the shooting sports, as the latest feed back from higerup is that the Anti Gun lobby have some politicians onside to push for a ban on High Powered, Sniper Type ) Rifles. That takes all your Benchrest Rifles and F Class.
Too many here are complacent and say they will never do it but its too late when it is done. Firearm ownership in the USA probably out numbers our whole population.22 million.
