Don't think my question was answered in the previous threads. I would like to know how the Wolf/Tula Large Rifle Magnum primers compare to Federal 215/215M. Anybody got any experience with this?

Joe - My experience is that they compare more closely with CCI primers. Their SRM is almost identical to CCI 450 in my 6BR loads. Wolf/Tula LR are close to BR2. Their LRM is only slightly hotter than LR.

Thanks guys. I bought a sleeve of LRM years ago and have used them for various LR applications but never compared them head to head with Fed 215. Trying to get a 6-250AI and a 243AI sorted out to try some long prairie dog shots in the future.
Another question I forgot to ask is similar. How does the Wolf/Tula SR 556 primer compare to a CCI 450? I know that the SRM isn't really a magnum primer. Used those in my 30BR for awhile in place of 205M and they were about equal on the chrono. The 556 is supposed to be a hotter version by a little. Thinking of trying them in my Dasher and 6X47Lapua maybe.

Joe - I use both Wolf/Tula SRM and KVB-5.56M and don't see much difference. Having said all that, I have developed fine loads with Russian, CCI and Fed primers. This is the first can I opened. I think the KVB-5.56M, LR and LRM are a couple cans down.

Thanks for the replies Steve. I know that I will need to do some chrono work at some point, just trying to get a feel from anyone who has compared. BTW, don't know that I would have posted that picture, now you will be the one everybody is after to sell them ;).
