Wolf Match Extra @ Bruno's

Shynloco

You can lead a horse to water, but ........
For anyone who cares, Bruno's has Wolf Match Extra in stock for $8.95 per 50.

Don't believe everything you hear or even read. I've heard so much garbage during this shortage and even before that this or that has been discontinued or other junk like a major powder manufacturing co was going out of business. None of that is accurate and unfortunately some start to believe it. BTW, there are two big time sellers of Wolf Match Target and Match Extra that have some available for purchase. And Killough Shooting Sports has Eley as well. Get on Dan's email list and you'll receive emails whenever he get a restock of the various rimfire ammo he sells. Just gotta keep checking the sellers for stock as people get wind of their ammo in stock and buy as much as they can.

way over priced

??????? Have you checked out the going price at Natchez, Midway or some of the other retail outlets? I just checked and the range starts at $9.79 and goes as high as $12+ per 50. Now that's "way over priced."

That is about the right price unless you are buying 5000rnd cases, then you can get a decent discount, though after the 'profiteering' by Bruno's in the last yr or so I wouldn't buy from them unless it was last resort and I needed it for a match.

My experience with them was with SK- Rifle Match...$9.95/box of 50....THEN $3.00 "Handling Fee to Cover Our Costs in Purchasing Boxes, Tape, Packing Peanuts, Etc. THEN $18.83 to ship to NC. $99.50/Brick ended up $121.33/Brick.....

Bruno's prices have gotten ridiculous in the last few months.

A couple of weeks back the price for a 8ld keg of Varget was $235. Add in shipping & hazmat and that comes close to $300. Ouch...

I doubt Bruno is gouging us, those prices probably reflect what he has to pay to put them "In stock". At Shynloco advice (thank you BTW) I have managed to get some good shooting ammo from Killhough. Not cheap, but junk bulk ammo wasn't doing what I wanted it to do anyway.

Well for all the sniveling about Brunos prices, let it be known that a friend bought an 8 lbs jug of VVN133 a few days ago and had to pay OVER $300 and guess what, it had nothing to do whatsoever with Bruno's. In fact, the purchase was made further back east. So keep on crying or sell your guns if you don't like or care to buy their products because the price of things ain't goin down, like it or not, sniveling or not. This is the after effect of the new age of the f - - -ing idiots people put in office, namely the head bozo in the White House and that other clown Bloomberg.

Couldn't agree more. Politics are running the prices of reloading components. I don't like paying high prices for things but I also have the choice of not buying them. Bruno may be high priced on some things but he has had a lot of things that I needed badly. Probably only had them because he was a little higher priced.

I also thought Bruno's prices on reloading components were a bit high. Then I thought about why that would be. I initially thought, basically, price gouging was the main reason. Then I thought about it some more, and finally came up with a reason that could explain how it is actually a help to some customers. I know this will sound odd, but bear with me. If he charges a fair amount more than the standard rate for the retailer that gets in the occasional pallet of mixed powder, he essentially will be rid of the hoarders and speculators trying to buy and stash or buy and instantly re-sell. So, if you really need some powder, and are willing to pay for it, it's got a lot better chance of being in stock. I know I'm not a fan of this phenomena, and I'm sure most people feel about the same, but I think we will be back to a more normal market before too long. Let's hope so anyway.

If Bruno's can sell it at that price, then fine with me. I'm not buying and I'm not telling where I get mine at about 35% off his price tag. Then again I just bought a new driver for my golf game too. When I can't shoot, I'll golf.
