Windy coyotes

I said heck with it Saturday after work wind or not Im a going calling.
Hit it about 630ish, did 3 sets and 2 down & back home by 1030pm.
On a new ranch I have.
Wind was non stop at about 15-35 mph with light blowing snow.
Dogs came in easy, stopped for a few so I had time to drop the thermal, flick the NV on, find them and wait till they stopped dinking around & hold still for a second. Thwaap & dropped.
I started out in jeans but had to put the insulated coveralls on when it started to blow rain mist & snow...not cold though.
Both nicely furred up females & both right at 32lbs & white in the tails.

Is just a standard MMR AR15, .223, timney 3lb trigger, D740 3rd gen NV scope, P30 TBAC suppressor.
I run a 55g vmax in front of BLC2. Perfect from 40-400 yards at night for me.

Who makes your NV scope? Can't tell in pic but- is it piggy back? I use a ATN PS40 and was thinking of looking into a different scope maker.

It is a Night Optics D740 (4x) dedicated 3rd gen NV scope.

Bottom line........leading edge of a low pressure front is the best to hunt in, wind or no wind, pouring down rain or snow ok...

is that the MMR Hunter model with the 20" barrel? I'm wanting to get my pops one. he's never been a black gun tactical type, but he did like shooting my M&P carbine. i presume you think pretty highly of the rifle.

Yes it is & I have 2 of them.
They are equal or better than a lot of other "branded" AR15s out there.
