Wind flag question

I hardly ever see Graham or Smiley flags at the score matches in this part of the country. That alone, should tell everyone something. I shoot score.
Also, I've never seen either, that I can remember, at a rimfire br match. Those guys don't get caught up in what everyone else uses. They buy what works!

From what I know about sr cf group, some west coast made flags are quite popular out there and some east coast flags are popular in the eastern part of the country as well.

You couldn't make me talk bad about another flag out there. If you haven't seen my flags or if you buy others because that's what so and so uses, you're shorting yourself. It really matters little if at all what we're talking about...buying without firsthand experience or at least talking to someone with firsthand experience with the various flags, is the same or worse than buying blindly. Is the person that recommended a certain brand shooting buddies with the maker? Do they follow what others do or is it based on firsthand experience with all choices? Reading through these posts, I see no one that has recommended others, and is on my sales list, too. I very seldom post recommendations for things like bullets, but there are several very good ones available.

I've sold by now, literally thousands of my flags. They have always come with a satisfaction guarantee. Since the first prototypes, not a single, solitary person has asked for his/her money back on them. I can't fathom a better record or statement as to their performance. I would not have dreamed...in my wildest dream, that perfect record after nearly 10 years. That's WHY my sig line says what it does.--Mike Ezell

Mike, you said something a few years back. Something to the effect of not using equipment(flags was the discussion) for the reason a buddy makes it.Competition has no place for it, use the best product available.
That has stuck with me since, & you're right.
I had been doing just that & at the IR50 Nationals a few years ago I was struggling figuring out why I was missing a condition. I looked at another competitors Ezell flags a couple benches up & it was oh so obvious! And it was the air moving that only your pinwheel was showing that I saw. I've since acquired a set & haven't looked back!
Thanks!
Keith

I’m sure you make a fine flag! I’ve just never seen one at a match. Group matches are covered up with Smiley flags! Probably UBR matches are coved up with yours! I don’t know I haven’t shot UBR match yet! I don’t have any experience with your flags but I’ve bought probably a 100 of Smileys (that’s not a typo)! However most of the big dogs in group shoot smileys.

I’m not married to smiley I’m just reporting the facts! Probably should give yours a try someday. But I’m pretty covered up in flags!

Man when you get invested in flags its tough to change. I have a complete rotation thatll support the super shoot bench rotations plus another for my dad. Thats around 80 flags and probably 95 poles when you count the extra short ones and extra tall ones you rarely need. As much as id love to use mikes flags i cant afford that anymore like i used to. Mike is a great guy, a good friend and i know makes a top quality flag. I wish i could afford to swap- id sure give em a try.

I personally don't like the old style daisy wheels. They are slow to react. The props like on the BRT flags or Mike Ezell's flags react much quicker. Put them side by side and you'll see the difference.

I'll second Jim remark. The other day at the range i had my BRT flags up and another gentleman had his flags up, i dont know what brand they were, not BRT, but 2 flags that were next to each other, my prop was just spinning his was not.
