More drag?.. My subsonic load loses 23% of its velocity at 1000 yd, my supersonic load loses 48% of its velocity of a 1000 yd.. My little brain says LESS drag on sub.Sub vs hyper is vastly different. Sub has much more drag that moves the bullet, as speed increases. Apples and oranges. Pretty much counterintuitive but sometimes, that's just physics.

I agree with you. I bolded the part of my statement that I think is the difference in how you interpreted my post vs what I intended. Lots more to it, too. I was just saying that drag increases as a sub goes faster, is all. Of course, it does so with hyper too, but I think the rate of drag increase relative to the speed is different for sub vs hypersonic.Sub vs hyper is vastly different.
