WinCT-Plus software for A&D FX120i scale

Has anyone worked with the WinCT-Plus software? That software is compatible with the A&D FX120i scale.

I am wondering if it can be used to interface with the dispensing system in a Chargemaster 1500.

I have done some searching but I have not yet found what communication protocol the Chargemaster uses. If it is RS232, which I suspect it is, it shouldn't be too difficult to get the Chargmaster and FX120i to talk to each other.

Ive used winCT with the fx120 and it worked ok. I think the chargemaster will be difficult to extract data from. a fellow at work has spent hours on an o'scope trying to decode data from inexpensive strain gage scales but then again, I'm not familiar with the details of the CM.

Not looking to use the Chargemaster scale. Looking to replace the Chargemaster scale with an FX120i and use the Chargemaster dispenser.

I think there was one post hidden deep in the "turn your fx120 into a prometheus" thread that addressed the code of the charge master and why it wasn't used for his product.

I have not yet found enough information to come to a conclusion but it is looking as though the Chargemaster dispenser might not have adequate resolution on the slow end to dispense slow enough to achieve the precision I am looking for.

My comparison would be Adams automatic trickler.

Do you know what motor type is used on the cm?
