Winchester model 70 Heavy barrel Varminter trigger

Hi Guys
Does anyone know of a good trigger or trigger spring conversation I can put in my Winchester Model 70 Heavy Barrel Varminter in .220 Swift, its the Flag type safety on the bolt, I tried to get a guy from the company below and he refused to send it to me $6.95 for the Target version.

Paull Firearm Specialties

Its only a spring when its said and done ? not a gun

I would welcome any help from any prospective members or Gun Dealers who have worked and modified these rifles , I think she is 1995-97 Serial number is G2156785 . If anyone can supply any info., about their own modifications / alterations .

This is an article about my rifle some time back on here http://forum.accurateshooter.com/index.php?topic=3773826.0 picture attached

Sorry I forgot to add I would prefer to steer away from commercial triggers like Rifle Basics , Jewell, Jard but I am still interested to hear your views on the same if you have used them to good results on Winchester Mod 70 s , Yes I am more than capable of doing any of the work myself and making sure every thing is safe and above board !

Regards

Steve

Maybe he's afraid of potential liability issues. He doesn't know your capabilities and if he's been around for awhile, he's seen some serious trigger problems/malfunctions induced by those who shouldn't be messin' with triggers (or safeties). I've use Jewell and Timney triggers on Win. 70s. Satisfactory results from both. "Adjustments" to the saftey/cocking piece may be required with either trigger, for proper engagement of the safety.

The OP is located in Scotland, maybe that could be the reason of no sale and shipping a firearm part??? internationally.

That could be it! As it says on that web site "no international shipping".
